DETAILED PROFESSIONAL DIRECTORY

Open the exact brief

Each leaf panel opens a detailed popup. Read the relevant brief before using a form, placing an order or making a policy assumption.

DO THIS · DO NOT DO THIS

Clear decisions, fewer mistakes

The comparison protects the customer from incomplete information, unsafe communication and avoidable delays.

DO THIS

Use the professional route

  • Measure twice over a light fitted layer.
  • Use the same unit throughout one comparison.
  • Compare chest or bust, shoulder, sleeve and length together.
  • State the heaviest realistic layer and preferred ease.
  • Use active product measurements before the general chart.
  • Keep the item unaltered and protected while deciding.
DO NOT DO THIS

Avoid unsafe assumptions

  • Do not choose only from a usual letter size.
  • Do not pull the tape tight or leave visible slack.
  • Do not assume every design has the same length or ease.
  • Do not size up automatically without checking shoulder balance.
  • Do not alter, clean or wear outdoors before deciding to keep.
  • Do not treat remote fit guidance as a guarantee.

PROFESSIONAL ROADMAP

From question to confirmed next step

Each stage has a specific meaning. A request, review or discussion does not automatically create approval.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Use a flexible tape, fitted base layer, natural posture and one chosen unit.

  2. 02

    Measure

Record chest or bust, waist where relevant, shoulder, sleeve and preferred length.

  3. 03

    Layer

Identify the heaviest garment expected underneath and the desired ease.

  4. 04

    Compare

Use the active product measurements and fit notes before the general chart.

  5. 05

    Confirm

Ask support with complete measurements when important points conflict.

IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

General guidance, not a fit guarantee

Body shape, posture, product construction, intended ease and personal preference can change the result. The active product measurements and fit notes always have priority.

DETAILED FAQ

Answers before action

Use Contact BRAVON when an answer depends on a specific customer, order, product, account or business record.

Are these body or garment measurements?

The chart is general body-measurement guidance. Product pages may provide garment measurements, and product-specific information should take priority.

What if chest and shoulder suggest different sizes?

Protect the shoulder and comfortable closure first. Contact support with both measurements and the intended layer when the difference is significant.

Should I size up for a sweater?

Allow room for the heaviest realistic layer, but do not size up automatically without checking shoulder and chest or bust balance.

How tight should the tape be?

Keep it level and comfortably close without compressing the body or leaving visible slack.

Why does coat length vary inside one size?

Different designs intentionally use different proportions. Check the active product length rather than assuming every coat is identical.

Can alterations affect return eligibility?

Yes. Do not alter a product until it is certainly being kept. Altered items may not qualify under the Return & Refund Policy.

Can support choose the exact size for me?

Support can interpret measurements and product information, but body shape and personal preference mean no remote recommendation can guarantee fit.

What should I send for fit guidance?

Share the product, intended size, current measurements, planned layer and preferred close, regular or relaxed fit. Never send secret payment credentials.

BRIEF 01 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Prepare and measure

Use a repeatable method, a flexible tape and the same unit throughout.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Wear a light fitted layer

Measure over clothing that stays close to the body. Bulky garments can add unknown ease and make the result difficult to compare.

  2. 02

    Stand naturally

Keep the shoulders relaxed, breathe normally and avoid pulling the chest or stomach in. Artificial posture produces measurements that do not represent normal wear.

  3. 03

    Keep the tape level

Horizontal measurements should remain parallel to the floor. Use a mirror or another person when the tape cannot be seen clearly from every side.

  4. 04

    Touch without compression

The tape should sit comfortably close without squeezing the body or hanging loose. Record the number rather than rounding aggressively.

  5. 05

    Repeat and record

Measure each important point twice and use the same unit for the full comparison. A large difference between attempts means the method should be checked again.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.

BRIEF 02 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Chest, bust and waist

Measure the fullest relevant point and compare the complete upper-body balance.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Chest or bust

Measure around the fullest point with the tape level across the back. The tape should not compress the body or slide downward.

  2. 02

    Waist context

For shaped coats, measure the natural waist and compare it with chest or bust. A size chosen from only one circumference can distort the intended silhouette.

  3. 03

    Closure test

The correct size should allow the intended coat to close over the planned layer without strong pull, distorted lapels or excessive loose volume.

  4. 04

    Body and garment data differ

A body chart describes the person, while a garment chart describes the finished coat. Garment measurements normally include design ease and should not be read as body limits.

  5. 05

    Use the product page first

If the active product provides garment measurements or fit notes, those details take priority over a general page chart.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.

BRIEF 03 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Shoulder and sleeve

Protect the frame first, then review sleeve position through natural movement.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Shoulder width

Measure across the back from one shoulder edge to the other following the natural upper-back line. The exact shoulder point can be easier for another person to locate.

  2. 02

    Intended shoulder design

A structured shoulder, natural shoulder and dropped shoulder use different seam positions. Do not judge an intentional dropped seam as automatically too large.

  3. 03

    Sleeve length

Measure from the shoulder point to the wrist bone with the arm relaxed. Product styling can intentionally finish differently, so use the active product information.

  4. 04

    Movement check

Raise and move the arms naturally. Minor fabric movement is normal, but severe restriction or collapse indicates a fit conflict.

  5. 05

    Alteration warning

Do not alter sleeves or shoulders until the product is certainly being kept. Altered products may lose return eligibility under the applicable policy.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.

BRIEF 04 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Coat length and proportion

Measure from the base of the neck and judge the result in a full-body view.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Starting point

Measure from the base of the neck down the back to the preferred ending point. Keep the tape following the body rather than floating away.

  2. 02

    Design variation

Short, mid-length and long coats can use different proportions inside the same letter size. Product length should therefore be checked separately.

  3. 03

    Height interaction

The same coat length can finish at a different place on different bodies. Compare the numerical length with the intended visual result.

  4. 04

    Footwear and trousers

Longer outerwear should be judged with realistic lower-body styling because trouser volume and footwear can change the perceived balance.

  5. 05

    Sitting and movement

Confirm that the length remains practical for sitting, stairs, travel and the main intended occasion.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.

BRIEF 05 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Layering and fit preference

State the heaviest realistic layer and the intended close, regular or relaxed fit.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Name the base layer

A shirt, fine knit, blazer and heavy sweater create different space requirements. Use the heaviest realistic layer rather than a theoretical maximum.

  2. 02

    Close fit

A close fit uses less ease and creates a sharper line, but it must still allow closure and natural movement.

  3. 03

    Regular fit

Regular fit balances shape and practical layering. It is often the safest starting preference when the product is intended for repeated use.

  4. 04

    Relaxed or oversized fit

Intentional volume should remain controlled at shoulder, sleeve and length. Simply choosing a much larger size may distort proportions rather than create a designed oversized result.

  5. 05

    Preference cannot be guaranteed remotely

Support can interpret measurements and product information, but body shape, posture, layer choice and personal comfort prevent a guaranteed remote fit outcome.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.

BRIEF 06 OF 06 · 5 DETAILED CHECKS

Product and return checks

Use the active product data and protect return eligibility while deciding.

Stay secure: BRAVON never asks for an OTP, CVV, UPI PIN, card PIN, internet-banking password or remote device access.

  1. 01

    Specific information wins

The product page, variant information and current measurements override a general guide when they differ.

  2. 02

    Check all relevant points

Do not select from chest or bust alone when shoulder, sleeve, waist or length creates a conflicting result.

  3. 03

    Keep labels and condition intact

Try the coat carefully without perfume, makeup transfer, outdoor use, alteration or treatment while the final decision is pending.

  4. 04

    Review the policy window

Fit dissatisfaction does not automatically create eligibility outside the applicable Return & Refund Policy. Check timing, condition and exclusions promptly.

  5. 05

    Share useful fit context

When contacting support, provide the product, intended size, body measurements, planned layer and preferred ease. Do not send unrelated identity or payment credentials.

Use the current product, order, policy and written confirmation where a customer-specific fact differs from general guidance.
